Diploma Programme at OSC
Mr Les Pickett, OSC DP Coordinator
Introduction to the Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a very effective preparation for education at universities and colleges throughout the world. It encompasses the in-depth study of six subjects (three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level) from a variety of disciplines; a Theory of Knowledge course; a research-based Extended Essay; and participation in Creativity, Action and Service activities. Student attainment within the Diploma Programme is ultimately measured by means of coursework submitted to the IB and written examinations in the second year of the course.
